Fluff

Fluff is a uniquely constructed blown chainette-style yarn. What this means is that a very small, hollow, polyamide chain suspends fluffy alpaca fibers within, creating a uniquely lightweight and ‘fluffy’ yarn. Just a bit of merino works to grip the alpaca fibers and keep everything in place.

This is an amazingly soft, lightweight, and warm yarn that works best for sweaters and delicate accessories. Because of the unique construction, we don’t recommend Fluff for hard wearing items such as mittens or socks.

KNITTING GAUGE

15-18 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on sizes US 8 – 10 (5-6 mm) knitting needles

CROCHET GAUGE

9-10 stitches = 4 inches in single crochet on sizes US I/9 – K/10.5 (5.5-6.5 mm) crochet hooks

Because the yarns are made using natural fibers, they work well for a wide range of gauges. As always, be sure to gauge swatch to assure proper size of your finished item.

Care
Hand-wash only in lukewarm water using a mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
