Learn to make a classic Selbu Norwegian mittens with Jane Taylor. These mittens work up fast because we will be using aran weight yarn. At the end of this three session class you will be confident in your color work skills and be on your way to beautiful mittens for everyone you know. Classes are three Fridays, January 9, 16, and 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Want to make a cozy cardigan but have never knitted a sweater before? This class will walk you through all the steps using a simple cardigan pattern. You will learn to measure a gauge swatch, knit in the round, pick up stitches, and add button holes. Please stop in before class to choose materials and knit a gauge swatch. Saturdays, January 10, 24, and February 7, from 8:00-10:00 am

You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off your first project, a dishcloth. Materials will be provided. Classes are Wednesdays, January 14 and 21 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Anna Flowers of Knotty Flowers will teach you the basics of crochet in this two session class. In the first class you will learn about yarn and hooks and how to make a chain and single crochet. The second class will cover 1/2 double and double crochet. Materials will be provided. Classes are Thursdays, January 15 and 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Second sock syndrome? Learn to knit two socks at a time using the magic loop method. Mary Enright will walk you through a toe cast on, turning a heel with gusset and heel shaping and binding off for a toe up sock. This class will be every other week so you have time between to finish homework. Thursdays, February 5 and 19, March 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

You will learn in round on circular needles, magic loop, and double point needles. This will advance your skills to be ready to knit socks, mittens, and sweaters in the round. For this two session class Jared Hanson will be your instructor. Materials not included. See requirements for needed materials. Classes are Thursday, March 12 and 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
